Taking a path with purpose
We can be part of something bigger than ourselves.
V.E.T. Coalition is veterans of Texas leading the fight against cannabis prohibition by educating the Lone Star State

EDUCATION
An informed electorate is created one way.
EDUCATION Overview
After a veteran decides to become an advocate, they begin the process of learning to teach. During this time, they focus on the skills they need to be fully prepared for showing both their peers and legislators why the law in Texas needs to change. VET collaborates with other experienced veterans to approach with effective strategies on paving the path to medical cannabis liberty.
Who we are

About Us
Veterans Educating Texas Coalition (VET Coalition/TXVETCO) is the veterans’ outreach wing of the Texas Cannabis Collective. The Texas Cannabis Collective is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. TXVETCO looks to educate both veterans and the electorate on cannabis issues facing veterans in the state of Texas.
Regarding veterans, TXVETCO will disseminate information on its website and by email when new articles are posted. The materials may be about bills filed, news on scheduled committee hearings, and other legislative updates. TXVETCO looks to unite veterans on a front to educate the electorate on their past and why cannabis is a fit for them. They inform their elected officials in a productive and meaningful capacity and succeed at reforming cannabis laws in the state. Veterans showing up with facts and personal touches professionally is a winning strategy.
Regarding elected officials, TXVETCO will attend committee hearings at the capitol and testify on legislative issues alongside veterans wishing to attend. Members may go to elected officials’ offices to talk with staffers and the representative or senator overseeing their district.
